art
From her earliest drawings to the present day, the artist has given material form to her interests and lived experience across what might broadly be grouped into three areas: conceptual art, visionary art and illustration. In every case, however, both the intellectual concept and a supraconscious artistic exploration through expanded states of awareness reach beyond the materiality of the work itself.
As her creative process has never been separate from her personal evolution, an inner search lies at the root of every creation, regardless of the complementary artistic traditions through which it takes material form.
In her conceptually based work there is a conscious enquiry, a desire to investigate an experience and give it artistic form. In her visionary practice, subtler realities themselves pose the creative challenge, while illustration brings both perspectives together. What unites them is a mind opening itself to human experience in all its dimensions, gradually uncovering the mystery of the known and the unknown, the visible and the invisible. In this process, the artist becomes a medium, placing her mind at the service of an experience that is invariably transformative.
